On the last Saturday of August, the Codex desk did the thing the internet keeps a shrine for. Thibault Sottiaux posted that usage for all paid users of Codex and ChatGPT Work was being reset, and then, unusually, told everyone to keep reading.
The copy was short at the top, which is how these things land when they are real. No status-page novel. No we are investigating reports. A reset, paid users, then a thread. What made the flush more than weather was the week underneath it.
