The xAI desk does not write paragraphs. Six words on 26 August — free usage limit reset for Grok Bot users — and the meters moved. That is the whole primary document, and it is why this card is short.
For this newsroom the Cursor angle is the story inside the story, and it is ours, not his. Grok Bot lives inside an IDE a lot of people pay Anysphere for, so an xAI flush lands in a Cursor bar and the Cursor forum has to explain it. The post says nothing about that. We do.
Anyone quoting this card as evidence of a Cursor-native ritual is misreading it in the exact way the SAMPLE Cursor card exists to catch.
What it means
