Elon announces another free Grok Bot token reset
Eleven words from the owner of the website, and a global wipe of Bot token usage that Cursor staff spent the next day explaining in their own forum.

Grok's reset voice is a billionaire on his own website. On 1 September he said all Grok Bot users were getting another free reset on token usage. A Cursor user woke up at 0% with four days still on the countdown, went to the forum, and was told that was the point.
The important mechanical sentence is the one the Cursor forum wrote, not the one on X: the global flush cleared usage and left the weekly timer running. That is how you get a reset that does not feel like a new week. We print it so people stop filing bugs against Anysphere for xAI weather.
