After the outage, the apology is a zero
Usage limits reset for all Codex and ChatGPT Work users following an almost-global outage between 2am and 4am the night before.
We have reset usage limits for all Codex and ChatGPT Work users. Last night around 2am to 4am we suffered an almost global outage. All well and recovered, but you know what comes next. We learn. We reset. Enjoy.

Some resets are champagne. This one is a claim form. The product had gone dark enough to call almost global, for roughly two hours. In the morning the meters were a second insult. Tibo zeroed them.
We keep incident flushes in their own mental drawer so the Observatory does not pretend Codex resets every four days as if outages were a product strategy.
What it means
- Incident flush. If you were already empty because the product was down, this is the makeup.
- Not a milestone. Not a bug hunt. Downtime paid in tokens, with the window stated as roughly 2am to 4am.
- You know what comes next is the house admitting the ritual out loud. We learn. We reset.
