The 20 million note was two sentences of joy and one careful noun. Banked. Not a hard flush. A chit, credited through the day, redeemable when you wanted it — if the UI showed it, if you were on desktop, if you had not already spent a stack.
By afternoon the replies were the usual mix of loyalty and suspicion. Some seats had the grant. Some did not. Community staff said it was still 1pm in San Francisco.
