The most honest sentence Tibo wrote all summer was the one where he admitted he had promised a metronome and then missed his own count. Ten million came and went. The desk went silent. Then: little surprise for you tomorrow. Then 15 million, and a reset landing within the hour.
The tease is in the drawer next to the flush — he had promised a reset for every additional million active users until 10M, said they blew past it and had been silent since, and left it there overnight.
Power users had already been reading charts that said 15M. The news was not the number. The news was that the house still thought it owed the bit. We keep that in lore as the milestone ladder and in the ledger as a verified hard reset on the 13th.
What it means
