Claude offers $100 Pro and $250 Max cloud-session credits

An optional one-time credit for existing subscribers, separate from usage limits. Claim by October 7; cloud sessions spend the credit before normal plan usage.

Verified Existing Pro and Max subscribers; cloud sessions only; one credit per account
“Existing subscribers get a one-time credit to try them: $100 on Pro, $250 on Max.”
— Claude Developers, 23 September 2026

Claude Developers announced a one-time cloud-session credit for existing Pro and Max subscribers as cloud sessions left research preview. Follow-up replies specify scope and a claim deadline; a September 24 clarification explains how the credit interacts with plan usage.

The provider says one credit per account, for cloud sessions only. Its claim reply links to https://claude.ai/code/claim-credit/10 and gives October 7 as the claim deadline. That is not a stated credit-spend expiry.

On September 24, Claude Developers clarified that cloud sessions run on the normal Pro or Max plan. This optional credit is spent first, then sessions fall back to normal plan usage.

Correction, September 26: the source watcher initially classified this dollar-credit offer as a banked reset. The card is now usage policy and its erroneous ledger row has been removed. This offer is distinct from the September 22 banked reset, redeemable until October 22. It is filed as usage policy and excluded from reset statistics, reset calendars and confirmed-reset subscriber feeds. All four original posts were verified through X syndication on September 26.

What it means

  • The offer names $100 for Pro and $250 for Max, for existing subscribers.
  • Claim by October 7 through the linked provider claim page or /claim-credit in the CLI. GitHub must be connected to start a session. Terms apply; no cutoff timezone is given.
  • Credits apply to cloud sessions only and are spent before normal plan usage. They do not clear five-hour or weekly usage meters.
