Claude artifacts use 50% less five-hour allowance through October 15
Pro, Max and Team users receive an automatic five-hour-limit discount after creating or editing eligible docs, slides and designs. Weekly limits and usage-credit charges are unchanged.

Claude announced a two-week artifact promotion for eligible paid plans. Current help terms define exactly which allowance changes, how long each discount lasts and which surfaces are excluded.
Verified October 1 at 18:38 UTC: two original @claudeai posts say the promotion applies automatically when users create a design, deck or document and runs through October 15 on Pro, Max and Team. Author, timestamps, complete text and reply relationship were verified through X syndication.
The current Claude Help Center terms set the offer window at October 1, 2026, 11:00 AM PT through October 15, 2026, 11:59 PM PT. The discount applies to the five-hour session limit only, not weekly usage.
In Claude chats, the next 10 messages after Claude creates or edits an artifact use 50% less of the five-hour limit; only the first 15 steps of each reply qualify. Creating or editing another artifact restarts the discount.
For cloud Cowork, choosing Document, Presentation or Design when starting a task covers about its first 45 minutes. In other eligible cloud tasks, up to the next 80 steps after Claude creates or edits an artifact can qualify.
The terms exclude Claude Code, Claude API, Claude in Slack, local desktop Cowork, scheduled or unattended tasks, usage-credit charges, older-version artifacts, Google Docs/Sheets/Slides made through the Drive connector and work in the standalone Claude Design app. Free and all Enterprise plans are excluded.
